Jagsharan Singh Mahal

Jagsharan Singh Mahal immigrated to Canada in 2008, embracing a journey of resilience and determination. After working various jobs to support his family, he returned to his legal profession and became a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2013. Since then, he has practiced in diverse areas of law, including family law, immigration, child welfare, and real estate.
Jagsharan has served as duty counsel with Legal Aid Alberta and as a roster lawyer for the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, consistently championing access to justice for underserved individuals in the community. As a passionate advocate for human rights, he dedicates his free time to volunteering in community organizations and nonprofit initiatives.
